The puppies are growing like weeds!!  Starting to play with each other and "toddling" around on their little legs.  Click here for our ad on kijiji!

So we did "puppy portraits" this afternoon!  They all did very well!  :)

If you're interested in purchasing one of these amazing dogs, click here or
here.

The puppies are growing super fast!  They are 17 days old today.  Their eyes are opening and they are beginning to walk!

We will be taking individual pictures of them this week and sharing them here for you to get a better look at each puppy's colouring.  Our children have unofficially named each puppy for easier identification.  :)  Here is female 4 (aka twizzler).

Hunter & Mika's first litter arrived on April 1st, 2013.  There are 11 puppies.  5 males and 6 females.  There are varying shades and tones in their coats.

We will be uploading pictures here as they grow.

Mika is our 3 year old purebred female Anatolian Shepherd.  Originally known as Kangal dogs, Anatolian Shepherds originate in Turkey.  For more information on this breed check out this website: http://kangal.ca/.

She has a wonderful personality--loves people and is great with children.

Mika stands 27 inches at the shoulder and weighs around 85-90 lbs.

Hello and welcome!

First we want to introduce our beloved Hunter.  He is Anatolian Shepherd/German Shepherd/Wolf cross.  We purchased him in November of 2009.  He was a wonderful dog right from the start.  Of course, he did the normal puppy things, but he is a quick learner!

Hunter is a protector, but is not aggressive.  We have a large family and he has taken up the responsibility to guard our children when they play outside.  He stays close to the children and is alert to everything going on around him.  We live in bear country and he has proved his guardian nature more than once by chasing a bear away.

Hunter stands 29 inches at the shoulder and weighs around 90-100 lbs.
