Like I've said before, Hunter really is an awesome dog!
The kids put a blanket on him and used him as a pillow.
He loved it and snoozed through it all!

Sorry we've been a bit slack here with updating.
It seems the action is all over on our facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/manitobaanatolians

We now have only 2 pups left.
Maple & Willow

Bandit is enjoying farm life just west of Portage la Prairie.

Timber travelled to Alberta and did really well.
Here he is after his bath waiting to be picked up:

Violet got picked up today and is going to live in the Lac du Bonnet area.

Smokey(aka Ivy) had a long day & overnight of travel from
Winnipeg to St. John's, Newfoundland.

King Harry is travelling to Swift Current, Saskatchewan
at the end of this week.

5 weeks

Calli's litter is doing very well....growing quickly and
their personalities are beginning to surface.
They are all pretty laid back with one or two
of them being more fiesty.  They are
on puppy food now on top of mama's milk.
Bandit gets a lot of attention with his unique markings.

Follow the litter: Nevada

We are so amazed at the awesome people we get
to meet through the sale of our puppies!
Nevada went to a home not far from here
and we made new friends!  :)
Here is what Kim says about their puppy--followed
by a couple of pictures she sent to us!

"Just wanted to give you an update on Nevada.
Well, first off, we changed her name (it was a lovely name
she had but we decided to give her a turkish name).
We call her "Ela", it means queen in Turkish.

She is fitting in beautifully with our family.
She is learning commands and doing well with
indoor potty training.  We just adore her.
She has even ridden on a snowmobile!
We went out on the river for a fire and brought her with us.

She stays around the yard when outside and she is
respectful of our horses.  She plays with the kids
and is watches over them just like you said.
I love her spirit and gentle nature."

3 weeks

Calli's litter is now three weeks old!
It's hard to say which ones will be short haired
and which ones will inherit Hunter's longer coat.
We bring them into the house regularly
for socialization.
Of course, the kids just love those puppy snuggles!
Here are a few updated pics of the three males.

Hunter the Great

I never loved a dog till I met Hunter.
He is just an all around awesome dog!
As a puppy, he was calm and hardly caused any trouble...
as an adult, he is protective, but never aggressive.
I love how he always walks with me when I walk the property.
He's attentive to our surroundings and seems to always
be on the lookout.
He makes his rounds regularly throughout the day--
just to make sure that everything is as it should be.
When our 5 yo son goes out by himself, Hunter sticks close by.
Here he is today.

9 weeks

I decided to take a little walk with our oldest daughter, her dog Mika and of course,
Mika's pups.  They are so very energetic and roly-poly it's hard to get
a picture of them at all!
If you're looking for a puppy that will most likely look like Hunter,
Kyra is the one for you!  She is super fluffy right now and
will end up with his longer, dark coat.
She's the one in the first picture:
